Islamabad :
Federal Minister for Planning Asad Omar says there is evidence of external support for the banned TLP. Talking to a private TV channel, Asad Omar said that the state had for some time tried to persuade the banned Tehreek-e-Labaik through dialogue but the organization resorted to violence. He said that there was evidence that the party was also receiving external support, among the decisions taken today.
The military is also involved with the government. During the program, the Federal Minister said that due to the delay in the appointment of DG ISI, the Prime Minister wanted the change of leadership to take place after some time due to the Afghan situation. It should be noted that Lieutenant General of Pakistan Army Nadeem Ahmed Anjum has been posted as DG ISI. The notification of appointment of DG ISI was issued two days ago.
