After the Australian Foreign Ministry approved the appointment of Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry as High Commissioner, Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry has been appointed as the High Commissioner to Australia by the Federal Government.
The Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has approved the appointment of Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry as High Commissioner. Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry is currently serving as Foreign Office Spokesperson, having previously served in the United Kingdom and the United States.
Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry is currently the Director General (DG) South Asia and SAARC at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, replacing Ayesha Farooqi as Foreign Office Spokesperson. Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry has extensive experience in US, Afghan and Kashmir affairs. He also has 26 years of experience serving at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Headquarters and Foreign Missions.
Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry has served at the Pakistani Embassy in Washington and the Pakistani High Commission in London. The new Foreign Office Spokesperson has also been the DG Afghanistan, Iran and Turkey. Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry has been the Joint Secretary in the National Security Division. He has also been in office.
He holds a master’s degree in international law from the University of London and a master’s degree in business administration. Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry is also a graduate of the National Defense University in Washington.
