Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that we will fight the no-confidence motion in a constitutional manner and will not stop any member from exercising his right to vote.
Talking about the political situation in the country, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the 48th meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers will be held tomorrow, for which preparations have been completed. These efforts are not of any one party, they are of Pakistan, Pakistan is a founding member of OIC, for OIC every government has played its role in its own era.
The Foreign Minister said that the Chinese Foreign Minister is coming today as a special guest, the Egyptian Foreign Minister has arrived, and most of the Foreign Ministers will come today. All foreign ministers will attend the National Day Parade on March 23 as special guests. Prime Minister Imran Khan will deliver the keynote address at the meeting. Apart from the burning issues facing the nation, more than 100 resolutions will be discussed. Inshallah, Pakistan’s prestige will be enhanced. We will also have the opportunity to have bilateral meetings on the sidelines of this meeting.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that today I have arranged meetings with the four or five foreign ministers who have come to Pakistan to attend the meeting. Meetings of our political committee are being held continuously. Yes, we do not want confrontation. We will fight the no-confidence motion in a constitutional manner. We will not prevent any member from exercising his right to vote.
The Federal Minister said that it is the responsibility of the opposition to complete the numbers in no-confidence, the opposition has resorted to prostitution to complete the numbers, they want guidance from the Supreme Court to end horse trading, they will also seek guidance whether these members will be disqualified for life.
