According to details, a delegation of lawyers ‘organizations called on Prime Minister Imran Khan. Talking to the Prime Minister, Imran Khan said that lawyers’ organizations have valuable services for the promotion and stability of democracy.
Yes, prosperity can only be possible through the system of justice and fairness. In the past, vested interests misused the law, in the past the rich and powerful were freed from the grip of the law, the weaker classes were exploited through the misuse of the law. The present government is reforming the civil and criminal laws, they want to give relief to the common man, the legal reforms will reduce the case load on the courts.
He said that lawyers associations should support the government in the agenda of legal reforms, lawyers are aware of the problems facing the community and will make every effort to find a solution. It was informed to the meeting attended by the concerned senior officials that the establishment of One Window Services Portal under the Board of Investment is being implemented to alleviate the difficulties faced by the investors.
It was informed that the portal will not only help in obtaining administrative and legal approvals but also in providing facilities to the industries. For this, the concerned departments are being included in the portal in two phases. The portal includes paperwork and digital approvals. It was further informed that not only federal departments but also provincial departments are being included in the portal.
Addressing the meeting, the Prime Minister said that the government was removing obstacles in the way of domestic and foreign investors for industrial development. He said that creating all possible facilities for investors was the top priority of the government. He said that consultation with all stakeholders regarding the portal and coordination should be ensured and the establishment and operation of the portal should be ensured within the stipulated time.
