Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry has said that the stability of Afghanistan is very important for Pakistan. We want to help Afghanistan and we want a stable government there. We persuaded the Afghan Taliban to negotiate first with the United States and then with the Afghan government.
Talking about the Prime Minister’s interview to the American newspaper, Fawad Chaudhry said that the stability of Afghanistan is very important for Pakistan. In 1970, Pakistan had played a role in reducing China-US tensions and even today, the United States and China are trying to reduce tensions. Pakistan is ready to play a role.
“We have fenced off 90 per cent of the Pak-Afghan border and we are in a position to completely seal the border with Afghanistan,” he said. “We want to help Afghanistan and have a stable government there.” Want to see
“We have persuaded the Afghan Taliban to negotiate first with the United States and then with the Afghan government. The solution to Afghanistan must come in a way that includes all the warring factions and a stable government in Afghanistan,” he said.
The Information Minister further said that if relations with India improve in future, Pakistan will have a geographically important position in the markets of India and China. Due to the geographical importance of Pakistan, the world including the United States will not be able to ignore Pakistan.
