Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that we are ready to deal with any situation and the situation so far is satisfactory, the Taliban has been taken into confidence, Afghanistan will not interfere in our affairs and its soil will not be used against Pakistan.
Talking to media, he said that people used to come to us who had problems with the Northern Alliance and others but the Taliban have been taken into confidence that Afghan soil should not be used against Pakistan.
Sheikh Rashid said that Chaman and Torkham border is open and some Pakistanis have returned home yesterday. There is no refugee situation on the border yet. Sheikh Rashid told the media that visas were being issued 24 hours a day at the Interior Ministry and told the Afghan Taliban that they would not interfere in Afghanistan’s affairs.
He said that the first plane of the national airline (PIA) had returned. It should be noted that the Taliban in Afghanistan announced the end of the ongoing war in the country. The goal of national liberation has been achieved and we do not want to harm anyone. The Taliban reaped the fruits of 20 years of struggle and sacrifice
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, head of the Taliban’s political office in Doha, congratulated Kabul on its victory, adding that the real test for the Taliban had now begun and they wanted to set an example to the world by serving the people. The shape of the new system of government in Afghanistan will soon become clear. We want peaceful relations while we did not expect Ashraf Ghani to escape but now the war in Afghanistan is over.
The land of Afghanistan will not be allowed to be used against anyone. Hopefully, foreign forces will not repeat their failed experiments in Afghanistan. On the other hand, the Taliban have started broadcasting on the state TV of Afghanistan and on the state TV, the Taliban appealed to the people to remain peaceful.
