Asad Omar, Federal Minister for Planning and Head of NCOC, said that more than one lakh people were vaccinated for the first time yesterday and for the first time in Pakistan, the number of people vaccinated in one day exceeded one lakh for the first time. Gladly , people are happy to be registering for Corona Vaccination.
According to details, Asad Omar, head of the National Command and Operations Center, said in a message on the social networking site Twitter that the number of first barrage vaccinations exceeded one lakh last day, during which one lakh 17,852 people were vaccinated. The number of vaccinations across the country has reached 2.1 million.
Asad Omar said that he is happy that more and more people are registering for the vaccine. People aged 40 and above should register for the vaccine.
In order to register themselves, the citizens have to write their ID card number and send a message to 1166, after which they will receive a message from the NCOC informing them about the date and center of the vaccine. On the other hand, a series of walk-in vaccinations has also started for people between the ages of 50 and 59 across the country. Citizens can go to any center and get vaccinated by showing their original identity card.
