Washington: The United States has said it will not allow lies and propaganda to interfere in relations with Pakistan.
US State Department spokesman Ned Price said in a media briefing in response to a question about the allegations made by PTI chairman Imran Khan that he values bilateral relations with Pakistan. We will not allow lies, propaganda and disinformation to interfere in our relations with Pakistan.
The State Department spokesman added that US Secretary of State Anthony Blankenship spoke to his Pakistani counterpart Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on the phone on May 6 and discussed various issues related to the 75-year-old relationship between the two countries. The two leaders also discussed stability in Afghanistan and joint efforts against terrorism.
