Two Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists have been arrested in Karachi, the capital of Sindh province. Police, acting on a tip-off, arrested two alleged TTP terrorists.
According to details, Site Super Highway Police in Karachi, acting on a tip-off, arrested two alleged terrorists of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). SSP East Qamar Jaskani said that two hand grenades and a pistol were recovered from the accused. The names of the arrested accused are also known and their names are Anas Khan and Firdous.
He said that a case has been registered against the accused in Site Super Highway under the Terrorism Act. The accused had received terrorism training from Afghanistan. SSP East said that the accused Anas has been arrested in Afghanistan before. The accused was imprisoned in Pul-e-Charkhi jail from 2007 to 2012. He said that the father of the accused was also a member of Mehboob Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Waziristan who was killed in Waziristan in 2020. The previous record of the arrested accused is being checked.
