According to a statement issued by ISPR, terrorists opened fire on a drug check post in North Waziristan from the Afghan border, killing 43-year-old Hawaldar Saleem and 35-year-old Lance Naik Pervez. The Pakistani military retaliated in full force, inflicting heavy casualties on Afghan terrorists.
According to ISPR, Pakistan has consistently demanded that Afghanistan ensure effective border control. Condemns the continued use of Afghan territory for terrorist activities against Pakistan.
On the other hand, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid condemned the firing on a military post across the border in North Waziristan and said that the incident of terrorism in Pakistani territory from the territory of Afghanistan was unfortunate. Terrorism across the border must end.
The Interior Minister said that the sacrifices made by the Pakistan Army for the security of the homeland are everlasting and Pakistan will make its borders more secure and strong.
