Talking to media outside the Supreme Court, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said that there was no danger. I have come here to do my duty as Home Minister. The Supreme Court is the largest institution in Pakistan.
The decisions of the Supreme Court of Pakistan apply to all the people of Pakistan and the Prime Minister. Every decision of the Supreme Court is in plain sight. He said that the decision of the Supreme Court can be better stated by the Attorney General, I am not a legal expert. Sheikh Rashid said that the Interior Ministry is not responsible for all the issues. I have come because if Prime Minister Imran Khan comes, I will go to the Supreme Court with him. What will happen under the constitution and law will happen.
He further said that no game is being started, the game is only for Imran Khan. Imran Khan will complete five years of his government. It may be recalled that the Supreme Court of Pakistan had summoned Prime Minister Imran Khan today during the hearing of the suo motu notice regarding the Army Public School tragedy. Security was kept on high alert in view of the arrival of Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Supreme Court. Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqat and additional police personnel reached the Supreme Court.
Prime Minister Imran Khan’s security staff was also present outside the Supreme Court on the occasion while mobile jammers were also turned on to make security more foolproof. Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan called on Attorney General Khalid Javed Khan and briefed him about the Supreme Court hearing. Prime Minister Imran Khan had decided to appear before the Supreme Court in respect of the court on the summons of the Supreme Court.
