Addressing the swearing-in ceremony of the members of the National Youth Council, Federal Minister for Development and Planning Asad Omar said that the corona virus could lead to smart lockdown on Eid. He said that we do not want to impose restrictions on Eid. Nor will it lead to a nationwide lockdown.
He said that corona cases are on the rise not only in Islamabad but in the whole country. He will brief Prime Minister Imran Khan today on the growing cases in the country. Asad Umar said that taking care of merit is the basic principle of PTI and in Youth Council. Federal units are represented to educate, employ and keep the youth engaged and Pakistan is one of the countries where the number of youth is high. He said that the National Command and Control Operation (NCOC) held a meeting on the expected fourth wave of Corona. The number of Corona cases in the country has increased this month.
