Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that the whole country cannot run on subsidy. So prices will go up in Pakistan too.
In his statement released on social media, Fawad Chaudhry said that there is propaganda about the rise in oil prices as if we live on a planet separate from this world. If the prices go up, the price will go up in Pakistan as well. He said that the whole country cannot run on subsidy.
The Federal Minister said that we as a nation will face difficulties together, economic difficulties are temporary, industry, agriculture and construction sectors are making historic profits. He said that the salaried class has difficulties, the private sector Increase in workers’ salaries, increase in income and employment is a break in inflation.
It may be recalled that the federal government had yesterday increased the prices of petroleum products by Rs 12.44 paise, which was strongly criticized by the opposition parties and demanded withdrawal of the increase in the prices of petroleum products.
