Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan Shahbaz Gill has said that the right to vote is a fundamental right of overseas Pakistanis and Prime Minister Imran Khan is the biggest supporter of overseas Pakistani and those who say that overseas Pakistanis don’t know about pakistani politics , in fact they don’t know anything.
He expressed these views while addressing a protest by Overseas Pakistanis in front of the Election Commission of Pakistan yesterday. Shahbaz Gul said that I myself am an overseas Pakistani but our heart beats for Pakistan all the time, Prime Minister Imran Khan is well aware of the importance of overseas Pakistanis and their rights and the Prime Minister personally wants overseas Pakistanis should be given the right to vote.
“I am also an overseas Pakistani and I am proud of it,” he said. Addressing the protesters, Shahid Raza Ranjha, chairman of the Pakistan Overseas Forum, said that the Election Commission of Pakistan had approved our resolution and all overseas Pakistanis. Congratulations on this achievement.
