According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the rate of corona positive cases across the country has dropped below 5%, with 2,714 more cases of corona virus reported in the last 24 hours, a further 73. People lost their lives in the face of this insidious epidemic.
Corona virus has so far killed 26,938 patients across Pakistan, bringing the total number of infected patients to 1,212,809. 77,532 patients are undergoing treatment, out of which 5,122 patients are in critical condition, while 1,18,339 patients have recovered from the disease so far.
In the last 24 hours, 56,733 more corona viruses have been tested in the country, while a total of 1,86,25,952 corona tests have been done so far. Corona virus vaccine has been given, so far a total of 742,987 corona vaccine doses have been given while 22,873,298 people have been fully vaccinated.
The number of corona virus patients in Sindh has risen to 446,840 more than other provinces, bringing the total death toll to 7,192. So far, 416,901 corona virus patients have been reported in Punjab The total death toll is higher than other provinces at 12,291.
The number of corona virus patients in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has risen to 169,429, bringing the total death toll here to 5,310. So far, a total of 892 people have lost their lives to the epidemic.
In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 33,490 cases of corona virus have been reported so far, while a total of 727 patients have died here so far. In Balochistan, 32,658 cases of corona virus have been reported so far where 344 people have died. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,198 cases of corona virus have been reported and 182 people have died so far.
