According to details, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar in which it was decided to start rescue air ambulance service in the province. He said that every human life is precious and timely treatment is the right of every individual, for which the launch of air ambulance service is a matter of time. Necessary steps should be taken immediately for the launch of air ambulance. The Punjab government has given a record tax relief of Rs 106 billion to the people in three years.
He said that historic steps have been taken for the betterment of rescue services in Punjab, which is why the services of Rescue 1122 services were also recognized globally. He said that Punjab would be the first province in the region to launch rescue air ambulance, through which the scope of rescue would be extended to remote areas.
In addition, the Punjab government released a three-year performance report. The Punjab government gave a record tax relief of Rs 106 billion to the people during Corona in three years. The report said that the Punjab Revenue Authority increased its tax collections by 36.8%. While the Sindh Revenue Board has been able to increase its tax collections by only 16.5% in three years, the Punjab government has launched the Universal Health Scheme for 110 million citizens of the province. Under the Universal Health Scheme, 8.5 million citizens have now received health cards. 32,000 doctors and medical staff were recruited during the Corona epidemic, Punjab gave Corona relief allowance of Rs 50 billion to additional medical staff, 95% additional loans were given to farmers in the province, support price of wheat was increased from Rs 1,300 to Rs 1,800. ۔
The report said that 93 shelters and 121 anchorages were constructed across the province, more than Rs 15 billion was distributed among the elderly and deserving people under the Ehsas program, Rs 18 billion was saved by the government through reforms in the pension system. The government’s performance report said that the PTI also benefited the national exchequer under austerity measures, banned the purchase of new government vehicles, and banned treatment abroad at government expense.
