Prime Minister Imran Khan will pay a one-day visit to Karachi today where he will lay the foundation stone of the Circular Railway Infrastructure Project. An electric train will be run on the Circular Railway Route. The basic infrastructure of the circular railway project will be completed in two years.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan will pay a one-day visit to Karachi today, where he will lay the foundation stone of a modern circular railway. Electric trains will be included in the Karachi Circular Railway project. The 43 km long circular train project will be constructed in three phases with one km underground, 22 km elevated and 21 km ground track.
Electric train will be run on Karachi Circular Railway route, there will be 30 stations on KCR route along with modern electric train, in the first phase 25 electric trains will be run and 814 passengers will be able to travel in each train.
A power station will be constructed on KCR route for electric trains. The basic infrastructure of the circular railway project will be completed in two years.
During the visit, PM Imran Khan will also preside over meetings at Governor House Karachi and meet PTI Sindh officials, including members of the Assembly, in which he will also announce his next course of action on PM Sindh.
Before leaving for Karachi with the Prime Minister, Railway Minister Azam Swati said that KCR would reduce the travel of the citizens of Karachi, a big chapter of the country’s history and Pakistan Railways is opening today. Azam Swati said that Karachi Transformation The plan includes roads, clean water projects, major projects are being worked on in Karachi today under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the citizens of Karachi will have less travel difficulties.
