President Dr. Arif Alvi while appreciating the services of the workers in the development of Pakistan said that they salute the services of the workers & labourers in the development of Pakistan, the government is making all out efforts for the welfare and protection of the workers.
In his statement on the occasion of International Labour Day, President Arif Alvi said that today we pay homage to the bravery and hard work of the workers. President Arif Alvi said that the government of Pakistan is fully aware of the problems faced by the workers. The government is working hard for the welfare and protection of the workers.
He said that the government had provided immediate assistance to the working class under the Ehsas program. Before the enactment of labor laws, Islam had sanctioned the rights and dignity of the workers. Arif Alvi also said that the process of production of workers and employers I am a partner, the cooperation of workers and employers is essential for the socio-economic development of the country. He further said that workers and employers should play their role in making Pakistan a symbol of cooperation and development.
On the other hand, Federal Minister for Information Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that measures for the betterment of workers are the first priority of Prime Minister Imran Khan. In a message issued on Labor Day, Fawad Chaudhry said that workers, working class are the architects of human development and civilization. It is the mission of the Prime Minister to change the lives of the working class.
He said that the focus of Imran Khan’s concern in the Corona epidemic was the working class. The Federal Minister said that measures for the betterment of workers including health and employment were the first priority of the Prime Minister and the government was working hard in this regard.
