Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has said that the rulers opposed EVM because they knew that I would win, if I wanted the help of the establishment, why would I have depended on EVM?
In a meeting with senior journalists at Lahore Zaman Park, Imran Khan discussed the Long March and the political situation in the country and informed the journalists about the threats and attacks on their lives.
Imran Khan said that the rulers opposed EVM because they knew that I would win, if I wanted the help of the establishment, why would I have depended on EVM? If there are elections even without EVMs, then inshallah we will win.
He said that an attempt is being made to invite Nawaz Sharif to give the impression of giving a similar atmosphere.
He further said that as much as the people are with us, God willing, we will get a two-thirds majority, considering our popularity and because of this fear, these people are not holding elections.
