According to details, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid in his statement said that Pakistan Army and democratic forces are on the same page in Pakistan, all political parties are with the army. With the opposition, the situation of the government is improving. After the Kashmir elections, the political situation of the country will be even better.
He said that the land of Pakistan would not be used against anyone, the government should take the opposition along, there was no difference between the government and the opposition in the national interest. It may be recalled that a long meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security was held under the chairmanship of Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser which lasted for more than eight hours.
The in-camera meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security was attended by the Army Chief, DG ISI, other military officials, opposition leader Mian Shahbaz Sharif, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, political leadership and four Chief Ministers. A briefing was given on Afghanistan and national security in this important meeting. The participants agreed to convene another meeting before Eid.
This important meeting was attended by the political and military leadership. Briefing the participants on the current situation in Kashmir and Afghanistan, the participants were told that meaningful dialogue had begun between the United States and the Taliban, adding that peace in Afghanistan would lead to stability in South Asia. The briefing said that Pakistan would welcome a representative government in Afghanistan.

In this important briefing given to the participants, it was made clear that the territory of Pakistan is not being used in the Afghan conflict. It is hoped that the Afghan territory will not be used against Pakistan either. Fencing work on the Afghan border is 90 percent complete. While the political leadership expressed satisfaction over the briefing and presented their recommendations, the DG ISI also answered the questions of the participants. In this regard, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed while talking to media said that all opposition and government are one on the issue of national security.
