Lahore: The resolution for the no-confidence motion against the Deputy Speaker has been approved. According to the details, the resolution has been approved for the election of the new speaker in the Punjab Assembly.
A resolution was also passed for the motion of no confidence against the Deputy Speaker. The resolution was presented by Raja Bisharat. The election of the new speaker in the Punjab Assembly will be held tomorrow at 4 pm.
The name of Wasiq Qayyum has been finalized for Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly. Wasiq Qayyum is a member of Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab Assembly from PP 12 Rawalpindi. PTI has decided to conduct a no-confidence vote against Deputy Speaker Dost Mazari. PTI had decided the next strategy after the overthrow of the PML-N government in Punjab and the swearing-in of its candidate Pervez Elahi as the Chief Minister of Punjab.

186 votes are required for the success of the no-confidence motion which PTI and Q-League have. It should be noted that PTI had submitted a no-confidence motion against Dost Mohammad Mazari in April. PTI has expressed disbelief on its own deputy speaker supporting PML-N and attending PML-N meetings.
