Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Babar Iftikhar said that the launch of the National Security Policy is an important milestone, the Armed Forces will play a vital role in achieving the vision given in the policy.
According to details, DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar in his statement on Twitter said that the launch of National Security Policy is an important milestone, the new national policy is very important to strengthen Pakistan’s national security. Developed National Security Policy, the Comprehensive Framework recognizes the interrelationships in various aspects of national security.
National security policy is essential to address emerging challenges. The Armed Forces will play a vital role in achieving the policy vision. In a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, the federal cabinet has approved the country’s first ‘National Security Policy’.
National Security Adviser Moeed Yousuf said in a tweet that the adoption of the National Security Policy was a historic achievement, adding that a comprehensive people-oriented policy aimed at economic security would now be implemented diligently. He said the policy, which has not yet been made public, would help guide sectoral policies to achieve the country’s national security objectives. Moeed Yousaf thanked the civilian and military leadership for their support and assistance and said that this policy would never have come to light without the constant leadership and encouragement of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
