The federal government has sent a written reply to the Sindh government after the Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah objected to the rotation policy and transfer of Grade 20 officers. The list was shared with the Sindh government.
A dispute has arisen between Sindh and the federal government over the transfer of Pakistan Administrative Service and Police Service Pakistan’s Grade 20 officers under the rotation policy. In reply, the Establishment Division wrote a letter to the Chief Secretary Sindh stating that the Chief Secretary Sindh had been consulted three times on the phased transfer of officers posted for 10 years. Like neither answered nor acted upon.
The letter from the federal government said that no government has raised any objection on the transfer of PSP and PAS grade 20 officers except the Sindh government. The list of officers was also released on the website for transparency, shared with the government.
In its letter to the Sindh government, the Establishment Division further said that the Sindh government’s objection and non-compliance was not in accordance with the Civil Service Rules, 1954. The federal government in its letter to the Sindh government also said that And PSP officers should be released immediately so that they can join their duty.
