LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has heard a petition against errors in voter lists. The court disposed of the petition of PTI leader Yasmeen Rashid.
According to media reports, the Provincial Election Commissioner said that the election will be held on the voter list of 2020. Data entry was a human error which has been rectified.
The updated list is for general elections. 4 million people were killed due to data operator error. The Election Commissioner further said that the election will be held on May 25, 2022. The data entry was a human error which was rectified. While the petitioner had taken the position that the Election Commission had killed the living.

On the other hand, the PTI filed a petition in the Lahore High Court against the Election Commission. The petition contends that the Election Commission is rejecting the names of polling agents. While the Election Commission is saying that there should be a polling agent only from the constituency. The petition said that according to the law, the candidate can be nominated by any agent. No vote can be shifted to the relevant constituency without a temporary or permanent ID card address.
The petition requested the court to order the Election Commission to appoint polling agents. It should be noted that before the by-elections, the PTI is accusing the Election Commission of being biased, while statements are also being made about the transfer of votes from one constituency to another. Recently, former Prime Minister and Chairman PTI Imran Khan had termed the Election Commission as biased and said that the Election Commission was fully working with Hamza Shahbaz to win the loot.
