Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has termed the decision to put Pakistan on the gray list as wrong and said that the decision of FATF to put Pakistan on the gray list is unjustified and affecting reputation.
According to details, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi while talking to Pakistani media representatives in Brussels said that Pakistan fully cooperated with the FATF action plan and fully implemented the action plan given in 2018.
He said that a small section of the FATF was affecting its reputation and the European Union and other countries should play a role in this regard. Talking about the Sialkot incident, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the incident in Sialkot was very tragic which had no moral or human justification. I was present where this tragic incident took place, whose role was appreciated by Prime Minister Imran Khan and for which he was awarded the Medal of Courage.
According to our constitution and law, minorities are protected, religion also teaches protection of minorities. He said that action has been initiated against those responsible for the Sialkot incident. Talking to media in Brussels, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Overseas Pakistanis are our assets.
He further said that one class loots money from Pakistan and goes abroad and the other class sends money to Pakistan by doing labor here. We have launched FM portal for quick solution of problems of Pakistanis abroad. We have taught all our ambassadors to have the best attitude towards Pakistanis abroad.
