A suicide bomber blew himself up near a Pakistan Army vehicle in Miranshah area of North Waziristan tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. As a result of which 3 soldiers and 3 innocent children were also martyred.
According to a statement issued by Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the martyrs include 33-year-old Lance Hawaldar Zubair Qadir of Pakpattan, 21-year-old soldier Uzair Asfar of Haripur and 22-year-old soldier Qasim of Multan. Maqsood and 3 innocent children include Ahmed Hassan Omar (11 years), Ahsan Omar (8 years), Anam Omar (4 years). After the incident, the armed forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to find the facilitators of the criminals. Intelligence agencies are investigating to find out about the suicide bomber and his facilitators. That this is not the first incident of terrorism in Waziristan but these incidents of terrorism have become commonplace in the tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in which Pakistani soldiers are being targeted.
Earlier, on April 26, two soldiers were martyred in a firing incident by terrorists. The troops opened fire, prompting the Pakistan Army to retaliate. According to ISPR, during the operation, two soldiers fought valiantly and were martyred in a fierce exchange of fire while fighting the terrorists. The occupants included 26-year-old Lance Naik Umar Ali Khan and 23-year-old soldier Muhammad Sirajuddin, a resident of DI Khan.
Earlier on April 12, a young Pakistani soldier was martyred during an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in Isham area of North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a statement issued by ISPR said. Terrorists and forces exchanged fire in the Isham area of Waziristan, and during the exchange of fire, Ismatullah Khan, a 28-year-old soldier from Mianwali, was martyred while fighting valiantly.

A statement issued by ISPR said that on March 30, 2022, three terrorists tried to enter a military compound in Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the troops retaliated effectively. All three terrorists were rounded up and killed, and attempts to enter the military compound were foiled.
