Sindh High Court withdraws ban on Tik Tak, orders PTA to rehabilitate Tik Tak and expedite disposal of related petitions The Sindh High Court granted the decision on a miscellaneous application of PTI. The High Court had ordered the suspension of Tik Tok.
According to details, the Sindh High Court heard the PTA’s miscellaneous petition regarding the ban on tick-tock, in which the PTA sought withdrawal of the restraining order and said it would decide on the complainant’s petition by July 5.
The court directed the PTA to expedite the disposal of LGBT related petitions and directed the PTA to decide on the petition of the complainant by July 5. During the hearing, the Sindh High Court reversed the ban on tik tok . PTA ordered the restoration of Tik Tok, the court ruled on the PTA’s miscellaneous application.
It may be recalled that on June 28, the Sindh High Court had ordered the suspension of Tik Tok. In the petition filed by Barrister Asad Ashfaq, it was stated that immoral, un-Islamic material was being kept on Tik Tok and a complaint was lodged with PTA that no action has been taken.
According to the petitioner, the Peshawar High Court has also issued a warning but the PTA did not succeed in removing the immoral material. After which the PTA closed tik tok across the country on June 30.
