ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has made weekend in government offices one day instead of two days.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif started performing his duties after assuming the post of Prime Minister. The Prime Minister has reduced the two-day holiday to one day.
The Prime Minister also directed that working hours in government offices during Ramadan should start from 8 am instead of 10 am.
When Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif arrived at the office at 8 o’clock instead of 10 o’clock in the morning for government offices for Ramadan, the staff of the Prime Minister’s Office started running.
The Prime Minister directed to ensure supply of quality and low cost items in the cheap bazaars during Ramadan and strict monitoring of Ramadan bazaars.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also ordered immediate implementation of the announcements to increase the pension of pensioners and raise the minimum wage to Rs 25,000.
He said in a meeting with the officers and staff of the Prime Minister’s Office that they have come to serve the people and not to waste a single moment. Honesty, transparency, diligence, hard work are our guiding principles.
