Islamabad :
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Shahbaz Gul has rejected the statement of former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Justice (retd) Wajihuddin regarding the expenses of Prime Minister Imran’s house, calling it completely false and illogical. Justice Wajihuddin said that the people of Jahangir Tareen used to pay Rs 5 million monthly to Imran Khan.
On the social networking site Twitter, Shahbaz Gul said, “The accuracy of the record, Justice Wajihuddin’s statement related to the expenses of PTI chairman Imran Khan’s house is absolutely false and illogical.” He knows his sincerity and honesty. Wajiha Sahib often makes such irrational statements in the grief of being removed from the party.
Shahbaz Gul said that on the one hand these people know and say that Imran Khan does not give biscuits with tea and on the other hand they are saying that the cost of Imran Khan’s house was 3 million then it became 5 million. The Special Assistant said, “Are these people insane or do they consider others insane? Izzatullah has given it to Khan. It does not matter to such liars.”
Earlier, the website of the daily Jang had reported that former PTI leader Justice (retd) Wajihuddin Ahmed had said in an interview to a private TV channel that “the idea that Imran Khan is an honest man is completely wrong”. ۔
He said that the situation of Imran Khan is that he has never run his own house for many years. In the beginning, the people of Jahangir Tareen used to pay Rs. It will not work within a million and started giving 5 million a month there.
Justice (Retd) Wajihuddin said that now they should have a car and it should be full of fuel, whether they have money in their pockets or not, all other people should be ahead of each other to pay. “We had a colleague in PTI who said that a person who does not even have his own shoe laces, how can he call himself honest,” he said.
He said, “So don’t think that this is financial corruption. He is an honest man. There were a lot of people who were funding the party. There were a lot of institutions that were funding the party.” Justice (Retd) Wajihuddin said, “The money I have mentioned was used to run the Bani Gala, to run the house. It is not a matter of party funding and it is a different matter.”
