According to details, police action is being taken against those involved in Sialkot tragedy. Seven more accused have been arrested, after which the total number of accused has increased to 131. Police said that investigation of the accused is being carried out in a scientific manner. The arrests came in the last 12 hours from CCTV footage and mobile calls data.
According to the investigation so far, the main character of 26 out of 124 detainees has come to light while the process of inciting provocation and identification of those involved in violence is underway among the detainees. The Chief Minister and IG Punjab are monitoring the investigation.
It may be recalled that the case of Sialkot incident in Agoki police station was registered in the complaint of the government. 800 to 900 unknown accused have also been named in the FIR.
