Demolition of Nasla Tower, which has been banned from gathering more than 4 persons under Section 144, is continuing in the vicinity of the high-rise residential building following the situation created after the protest of builders and victims outside Nasla Tower. Was ordered by the Supreme Court.
According to the notification, gathering of more than 4 persons around Nasla Tower is prohibited. The notification states that action will be taken under section 144 against gathering of more than 4 persons around Nasla Tower. Violation will also be dealt with under section 144.
DC East had requested the Commissioner Karachi to impose section 144 on the situation arising out of the protests of builders and victims outside Nasla Tower. The ban will remain in force till Nasla Tower is completely demolished.
It is to be noted that the number of police personnel outside Nasla Tower was increased yesterday and all the surrounding roads were closed. With the help of heavy machinery and laborers the Nasla Tower is being demolished, while with the help of heavy machinery and laborers the process of demolishing the locker heights is also in progress. The work continues today on the fifth day.
