ISLAMABAD: PTI leader and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that using the religion card to eliminate Imran Khan is not a problem for him. In fact, these people want to create an environment of religious hatred by taking different statements.
While holding a press conference with Sania Nishtar in Islamabad, Fawad Chaudhry said that a group of two journalists who work with the Strategic Media Cell also made a video. Working at the top, they are small part of the whole scheme, want to create religious hatred.
The former federal minister said that using religion card to eliminate Imran Khan is not a problem for him, this government made blasphemy cases, then terrorism cases, when it comes If not, these people want to create an atmosphere of religious hatred by taking various statements.
He said that today what Maryam Nawaz did or what Fazlur Rehman is doing before that, they want that since Imran Khan is not losing in the elections, he should be ‘physically eliminated’. Maryam Nawaz runs the media strategic cell and also spends the money, making schemes is also her job.
The PTI leader said, “I am very sorry that a man like Fahad Hussain who you expect not to be involved in such matters is also a part of this process, all these people will have their turn.” Whatever they do, they will get the answer.
Fawad Chaudhry said that the shameful behavior of ARY, BOL, Capital and GNNTV for showing telethon at night, the way they were shut down, is less than condemnable. Regular anti-terror cases are being made against journalists and they are being tortured.
During the telethon, he criticized the government’s claim that the transmission was not involved and demanded the authorities to reveal the identity of those responsible for the media blackout, otherwise the PTI will drag the government to court. Where they will be asked for the names of the callers to block the TV channels.
Fawad Chaudhry said that the purpose of the telethon was not political, a large number of people in Pakistan are affected by floods, the government and media should have supported Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
He said that there was a big flood in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab as well, but there was less flood damage, while there was more damage in Sindh and Balochistan. More effective measures were taken.
Dr. Sania Nishtar said in the press conference that in the telethon held on August 29, a commitment was made to give 5 billion rupees, of which 2 billion rupees was asked to be given by a single person from Texas for rehabilitation. He said that out of this one billion 90 crores have been received from overseas Pakistanis while one billion 93 crores have been received from local people.

The PTI leader said that 5 billion 20 crore rupees were collected in 2 hours in yesterday’s telethon, the series of calls was not ending, people are sending money on the call of Imran Khan on a large scale.
He said that now it is our responsibility to spend this money in a transparent and impartial manner, we will distribute this money to the people in the form of cash as soon as possible.
He said that slum houses or houses coming in the canal route will be deprived of assistance because the law says so, but we will not deprive such people of assistance, 10 percent share with the governments in terms of housing finance. They are pouring, those whose houses were in ruins to get some money so that they can make a place to hide their heads.
He said that our policy will be the same throughout the country, our matters have been settled with the government of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, we will offer the same to Balochistan, Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. Will cooperate with us.
He said that 900 people go to schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to collect data on tablets to check the beneficiaries. I will go and take pictures of the houses, and mark them on Google Maps so that anyone can visit them.

Fawad Chaudhry, in response to the question regarding the meeting of former US Ambassador Robin Rafale with Imran Khan, said that I could not ask Imran Khan in this regard, but if he is here, there is no problem in meeting him.
He further said that our policy should be very clear, we have no war with the US, they have retired, they have no relation with the US government, if political or government contacts with the US Embassy on floods or other issues are maintained. However, Pakistan’s relationship with the US is of great importance, we recognize it, and bilateral relations are in the interest of both countries.
