Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that relations between Pakistan and Russia have gradually strengthened. The Foreign Minister along with the delegation met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. Regional and global issues were discussed.
On Thursday, the Russian Foreign Minister thanked Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi for his visit to Moscow. The two Foreign Ministers reviewed all aspects of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Russia. On this occasion, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said. That Pakistan attaches special importance to bilateral relations with Russia, the relations between Pakistan and Russia have gradually strengthened.
Pakistan pursues the agenda of promoting economic priorities and regional ties in the light of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision. The two Foreign Ministers reiterated their commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Russia. The Russian Foreign Minister wished success to the 48th meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers to be held in Islamabad on March 22/23. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi warmly welcomed and thanked his Russian counterpart for the warm hospitality. Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood and senior Foreign Ministry officials were also present in the meeting.
