Lahore: In the Punjab Assembly, the resolution to take action against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif under Article 6 was approved by majority opinion.
According to media reports, the resolution was presented by the Provincial Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Raja Basharat. Referring to the media reports, it was stated that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is living a fugitive life in London. He consulted on sensitive national issues, including the appointment of the Army Chief. .
In the resolution passed in the Punjab Assembly, it was said that according to the Prime Minister’s affidavit, the Constitution prevents the Prime Minister from consulting an unrelated person on sensitive national issues.
It was stated in the verdict that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif himself is accused in many cases, the imported government has violated the constitutional provision, so action should be taken against the Prime Minister under Article 5 and 6.
Provincial Minister Raja Basharat read out the Prime Minister’s constitutional affidavit in the assembly, he announced that steps should be taken to initiate action against Shahbaz Sharif under Article 5 and 6 apart from the resolution.
Expressing surprise, he said that the Prime Minister met a fugitive in a London flat who was mentioned in the Panama scandal and a case was also registered against him in a property case.

Meanwhile, Speaker Sabtain Khan formed a 2-member committee to hold 2 separate budget sessions of the House.
One meeting was held by the then Speaker Pervez Elahi in the Assembly building while the second meeting was held by the then Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz in the months of June and July in the nearby government building.
Raja Basharat and PML-N Chief Whip Khalil Tahir Sindhu are included in the committee.
