ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has banned the export of sugar to keep its price low.
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in which major decisions were taken. The Prime Minister has banned the export of sugar which will remain in force throughout the year.
According to sources, the country has surplus stocks of sugar as per requirement. The decision taken by the Prime Minister is aimed at reducing sugar prices in the country and providing relief to the people.
