ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif called on President Dr. Arif Alvi. The political and economic situation of the country was discussed during the meeting. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also held consultations with the President on important national issues. During the meeting, constitutional issues including appointment of four governors were discussed.
It may be recalled that President Dr Arif Alvi had apologized to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the new cabinet for taking oath on which Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani had taken the oath.
