ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that political decisions are not and should not be taken in the courts and the opposition should prepare for elections in 90 days.
Fawad Chaudhry said that there is no doubt that now we will have the opportunity to present our case before the court, our team of lawyers is also ready to present their point in the court, the main point is that under Article 69 Supreme The Court does not have the power to ‘judge’ the rolling of Parliament as it is at the discretion of the Speaker.
Fawad Chaudhry said that there are many decisions of the courts in this regard. The second point is that the Deputy Speaker reviewed the situation in the context of Article 5. She is happy to be going to the polls but the faces of the opposition are downcast.
He said that the leaders of the united opposition have shed tears, the government has come out in the open, the united opposition is sometimes hiding its head in one corner and sometimes in the other, political decisions are not made in the courts, political decisions are made on the roads and with geneal public .
