Lahore: Muslim League (N) has started considering three names for caretaker chief minister of Punjab, while the leadership has also asked for more names.
According to sources , after the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly, the PML-N has started considering various names for the appointment of caretaker chief minister. On behalf of the party, Justice (retd) Khalilur Rehman Ramde, former Bureaucrat Nasir Masood Khosa and Justice Jawad S. Khawaja. The names will be considered.
According to party sources, the leadership also sought more names from senior leaders for caretaker chief minister.
It should be noted that the Governor of Punjab has written a letter to Acting Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz for the appointment of Caretaker Chief Minister. Hamza Shehbaz is currently abroad.
