Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan cannot change the law of accountability for anyone. He said that his prayer is that the allegations against Jahangir Tareen may prove to be false and he may come out of this inquiry and win ultimately against all the odds.
He further said that he knew that Jahangir Tareen would face these inquiries and allegations in the same way as any member of the opposition and this task is not for everyone.
Addressing a news conference with Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry in Islamabad, Governor Sindh said that he had a private and detailed meeting with the Prime Minister yesterday, some of which I would like to share with you.

Governor Sindh clarified that the Prime Minister will not change the process of accountability for anyone. According to Imran Khan, any allegation related to national wealth and national assets is the biggest crime. He cannot show flexibility on accountability.
He said that the Prime Minister’s focus is on the economy which is moving in the right direction, our exports have increased, foreign exchange reserves have also increased and at present we do not need any kind of disturbance.
Imran Ismail said that Pakistan’s economic situation is improving, the dollar has weakened, the rupee has strengthened, our stock exchange is counted among the best stock exchanges in the world, Pakistan’s exports have improved.
He said that we are trying to make Pakistan emerge on the world map with a strong strategy in the current situation of the world and it is the international policy of the Prime Minister to improve relations with friendly countries and the West. To be further improved.
