Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned the members of the Tareen Group of Assembly. The meeting of the angry members will be held at the Prime Minister’s House at 3.30 pm. Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Pervez Khattak will also be present. The current political situation will be discussed in the meeting.
The future strategy will also be decided in the meeting. According to sources, the Prime Minister also summoned the Punjab Chief Minister to the Prime Minister’s House.
It may be recalled that Sindh Governor Imran Ismail had specially reached Lahore on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan and had met former provincial minister Aleem Khan. He will agree to replace Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar. Earlier, Punjab Prisons Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan while talking to a private TV channel said that Jahangir Tareen had played an important role in the party. The provincial minister said that he was not angry with his party but he was the only provincial minister who supported the chief minister and prime minister on the front foot.
