Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned Chief Minister KP Mehmood Khan to find out where and why he lost the local body elections. After the report, the Prime Minister will give guidelines to Mehmood Khan for the next phase of strategy.
According to sources, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has reached Islamabad at the request of Prime Minister Imran Khan, where he will meet the Prime Minister. Where and why was the election defeated? The Chief Minister will brief the Prime Minister on the results of the local body elections.
According to the report, the meeting will identify MPs and senior leaders who did not support the local body elections, while the Prime Minister will also be informed about the distribution of tickets. After the report, the Prime Minister Mahmood Khan Will be given guidelines.
It is to be noted that PTI members are in a dilemma over the unexpected defeat in the first phase of KP local body elections and they have made a big demand to the Prime Minister to find out the reasons for the defeat. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has recommended an independent inquiry. The inquiry team will be decided by Prime Minister Imran Khan. In the light of the inquiry report, decisions will be taken in the second phase of elections.
Yesterday, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry also reacted to the unexpected defeat of the party in the first phase of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa local body elections and said that the PTI leadership and workers should put personal differences behind them and organize themselves under the leadership of Imran Khan.
In his meaningful message on social media platform Twitter, Fawad Chaudhry said that if PTI was weakened then the country would fall into the hands of wolves. Extremist parties like JUI could not be a substitute for PTI.
