ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has thanked his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi for his congratulations.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said in a tweet that he thanked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for congratulating him on assuming the office of Prime Minister.
He further said that Pakistan wants peaceful and cooperative relations with India. Peaceful resolution of extraordinary disputes, including Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, is imperative. The whole world is aware of Pakistan’s sacrifices in the war on terror. Let’s ensure peace and focus on the economic and social development of our people.
