ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has left for London with his cabinet at the invitation of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif.
Prime Minister left for London on a British Airlines Flight BA 2260 with a Cabinet delegation. Shahbaz Sharif was accompanied by Ahsan Iqbal, Finance Minister Muftah Ismail, Ayaz Sadiq, Maryam Aurangzeb, Saad Rafique, Khawaja Asif, Malik Ahmad Khan, Ataullah Tarar and Khurram Dastgir.
According to party sources, Nawaz Sharif has summoned senior leadership to London for a meeting. The party meeting will discuss the country’s economic situation and other important issues.
All PML-N leaders, including the Prime Minister, will return home on Friday at 2 pm Pakistan time after attending the meeting in London.
The party meeting will consider governmental, economic and political issues while important political decisions are also expected from the party leadership.
