ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed to provide assistance of Rs 50,000 per family within 3 days to flood affected families.
According to the announcement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister has directed that instead of Rs. To be provided under the Income Support Program.
The Prime Minister said that the process of providing aid to the victims should be kept transparent, the cash aid should be provided through electronic transfer and ensure that the entitled person gets his right, the plan for distribution of 50,000 cash aid should be completed. The Relief Coordination Committee should submit its report by this evening.
The Prime Minister said that the joint survey with the provinces should be completed in 3 weeks instead of 5 for the estimation of flood damage. And be sure to communicate the dates.

The Prime Minister said that it is the discretion of the provincial governments to be a part of the federal government’s relief efforts for the flood victims, but the federal government will ensure the relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims with its own resources. Prepare a comprehensive plan.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presided over the meeting of the Relief Coordination Committee for the flood-affected areas. The meeting was attended by Federal Ministers Miftah Ismail, Ahsan Iqbal, Maryam Aurangzeb, Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Maulana Asad Mehmood, Advisor to Prime Minister Qamar-ul-Zaman Kaira, Chairman NDMA Lt. Gen. Akhtar Nawaz and relevant senior officials.
Federal Housing Minister Maulana Abdul Wasi, Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Qudous Bizenjo, Member of Balochistan Assembly Sanaullah Baloch participated through video link.
