Prime Minister Imran Khan met with his Tajik counterpart to discuss bilateral relations and the situation in Afghanistan, including in the region. Earlier, the Prime Minister arrived in Tajikistan with his delegation, where he was received by Tajik Prime Minister Qahir Rasulzada.

The Prime Minister will soon attend the Pakistan-Tajikistan Business Forum in Dushanbe and address the forum. The Business Forum is important for increasing trade between Pakistan and Tajikistan.
The Ministry of Commerce, Board of Investment and Trade Development Authority are organizing the forum. 67 Pakistani and 150 Tajik companies are participating in the forum. The companies are from textile, leather, pharmaceutical, agriculture, minerals and tourism.
Earlier, when Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Tajikistan on a two-day visit, he was received by Tajik Prime Minister Qahir Rasoolzada. During the visit, the Prime Minister will meet with the Presidents of Iran, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Uzbekistan, and will also visit the Presidential Palace to meet with the President of Tajikistan.
