Welcoming Saudi Arabia’s desire to improve relations with Iran, the Pakistani prime minister stressed that the move would strengthen the Islamic Ummah.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan welcomed remarks by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for peace with Iran, saying the move would strengthen the “Islamic Ummah”.
“We welcome Saudi Arabia’s statements for peace with Iran,” Imran Khan wrote on Twitter. Our neighbor Iran and Saudi Arabia are our closest friends. “Peace will strengthen the Islamic Ummah.”
“Iran is a neighboring country and we hope to have a good relationship with it,” the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia told Al-Arabiya on Tuesday night. “Saudi Arabia is interested in establishing good and distinctive relations with Iran.”
