Prime Minister Imran Khan, while announcing to help the farmers, said that the farmers have to be introduced and trained in new techniques of agriculture, our effort is to help the small farmers, small farmers are more expensive than big farmers.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing the launching ceremony of Kisan Portal said that the working class of the country are laborers and farmers, Allah is pleased with the help of the working class. 90% of the majority are small farmers.
The Prime Minister said that our effort is to help the small farmers, small farmers get things more expensive than big farmers. When a farmer goes to sell his crop, he has to sell it cheaply. The farmer would work hard and take the sugarcane to the sugar mill and stand in line.
“We tried to get the full price of sugarcane to the farmers. When the farmers got the full price, its production started increasing. The important thing is how the production will increase unless we focus on research,” he said. Even though we have cows and buffaloes, we have to import dry milk.
The Prime Minister said that people said that the cotton planted in Balochistan was very standard. After 50 years, 10 big dams are being built in Pakistan. We need to store water. By storing water, we can also avoid flood damage.
“Every family is getting a health card where our government is. We are trying to increase our production and not rely on imports,” he said. The farmer has to be introduced to the new technique, there is also a training program. The C-Pack has also included the agriculture sector, seeking help from China.
The Prime Minister further said that a portal for small farmers has been launched and if a farmer calls, a message will be sent to the Gachev Secretary. We will insure through the portal that small farmers are not abused.
