Prime Minister Imran Khan today convened an important meeting of the PTI’s core committee to take the party leadership into confidence over the agreement with the banned organization. The meeting will be attended by three governors, two chief ministers and federal ministers as well as provincial ministers and MPs will attent the meeting.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan is active in tackling important national issues, inflation and political challenges. In this regard, Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened an important meeting of the PTI core committee today. The meeting will be held at 3 pm today.
The meeting will be attended by the three governors, two chief ministers and federal ministers while PTI leaders, provincial ministers and members of parliament will attend the meeting. Later, the core committee will consider the issue of agreement with the banned organization and the Prime Minister will take the core committee on various national issues into confidence.
The committee will work out a strategy to address the political challenges and the Prime Minister will brief on the economic situation and parliamentary strategy. The meeting will also discuss the economic package from Saudi Arabia and issues related to the Lahore by-election campaign. Will consult on mobilization.
It may be recalled that an agreement was reached between the government and the banned Tehreek-e-Lubaik Pakistan yesterday. Under the agreement, the banned organization will refrain from any long march or sit-in and will join the political mainstream as a political party.
Sources had said that under the agreement, the government would release the arrested activists of the banned outfit, but the activists facing serious cases, including terrorism, would have to seek relief from the court.
