Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to appoint Senator Ayub Afridi as Adviser for Overseas, and has also approved his appointment as Advisor in this regard. However, the cabinet will issue a notification after the approval of President Arif Ali.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan decided to appoint Senator Ayub Afridi as Overseas Adviser and approved the appointment of Senator Ayub Afridi as Advisor. The Cabinet will issue a notification after the approval of the President. The Cabinet Division has sent a summary of the appointment of Ayub Afridi to the President.
Earlier, Zulfi Bukhari was the Special Assistant to the Ministry of Overseas Affairs. It may be recalled that Ayub Afridi had resigned from the Senate seat last month, sources said, adding that Ayub Afridi would be made adviser to the Prime Minister on Ambassadors.
Senator Ayub Afridi submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Imran Khan, on which Prime Minister Imran Khan appreciated the services of Senator Ayub Afridi. According to sources, Shaukat Tareen will be made a senator from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the general seat. It may be recalled that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Ayub Afridi had resigned from the Senate seat.
