ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the government is going to take emergency measures to make the country economically stable.
Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif chaired a high level meeting on the current state of the country’s economy, in which Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ahsan Iqbal, Muftah Ismail, Maryam Aurangzeb, Zubair Umar, Ayesha Ghous Pasha, Tariq Mahmood Pasha, Bilal Kayani and related Top officials attended.
The Ministry of Finance briefed the Prime Minister in detail on the current state of the country’s economy.
Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that the government was going to take emergency measures to make the country economically stable. The Prime Minister directed the Economic Team to formulate a comprehensive strategy of reforms for the betterment of the economy on an emergency basis.
Expressing concern over the troubling economic indicators, the Prime Minister directed that steps be taken to improve the economic condition of the common man in any case.
Shahbaz Sharif directed to take steps on priority basis to improve the overall economic situation of the country as well as to control inflation.
